Pickup in Bright at 10am

 

Itinery for the day:

 

• We travel down the Beautiful Ovens valley to the Australian Pumpkin Seed Company

       which is the only one in Australia, where you will get to see the workings of their business

       including the history of the industry followed by a tasting of their produce

• Morning tea will be just around the corner at Chakra Coffee, they produce their own coffee

       and fabulous cakes

• Enjoy the beautiful scenery whilst we drive to Beechworth where we visit Mayday Hills Asylum

• We then travel into town where you have 2 hours to explore this wonderful town

• You can have lunch at the Beechworth Bakery or the Bridge Road Brewery or any of the other

       cafes around town

• Built upon the splendour of the early gold-rush days, Beechworth is recognised as Australia’s

       finest historic gold-mining town. There are plenty of things to see in Beechworth including:

       Beechworth Honey, the Bridge Road Brewery, The Beechworth Sweet Company, The Old

       Telegraph Station (1858), the Chinese Protectors Office (1857), the Town Hall (1858),

       the Powder Magazine (1859) and the the Gold Office. The town is brimming with galleries,

       antiques, pottery and old wares that will delight and surprise you

Arriving home around 6pm

 

All our tours are done at a leisurely pace, if time permits we can do some extra things at the end

of the day or if you are having a great time along the way we may miss some at the end of the day.
